Illea has changed. It has been twenty years since the reign of Maxon and America Schreave came to an end, and time has not been kind. Equality between men and women has changed, making me far above women's status. It has gotten so bad, that it is now the law that all women shall only be seen in public if they are wearing a masquerade mask. It is punishable by death, should you refuse to wear one. At first, many women, young and old alike, revolted. But, they were "shut down," to put it lightly. The cold and distant King Christopher did the job, and made sure it never happened again. Everyone must obey his laws, or they shall face consequences. But, it's time for the king to step aside and give the throne to his eldest son, Prince Kallen.All Rights Reserved
