The sequel in the Abyss of War series, follow Dayne as the civil war increases in intensity. The line between Friend and Foe becomes blurred, who can he really trust when his own feelings interfere with bringing the empire to victory? The return of an old friend doesn't make things much easier as he must now contend with new feelings and the stress of being a full time soldier for a war machine with no regard for casualties.

Sierra doesn't talk. Chris is a germaphobe. Chase cuts himself. We all have reasons for running away from the districts and the Capitol, but we've all found sanctuary here. This is the second book of our adventures, a sequel to Outside the Districts.
