The Maze Runner (A Gay Thomas Fan Fiction)

I yell "Who's there?!?" I back up quickly to the other side of the metal box. Lights begin to pass us as we start getting higher and higher. The mysterious boy slowly gets up from the floor of the box and starts banging on the side of the box while screaming "Help me!" He then turns and looks at me, we look into each others eyes as if we've seen one another before. But before we make the connection, the box comes to a stop and light cuts through the darkness, blinding us.

I squint and make out a bunch of boys above us yelling different things at us but I can't make out the words. They open the top of the box and jump down. The boy who jumped down then leans right into my face and says "Day one Greenie, rise and shine."
