It was a day after Dean and Castiel's seventeenth birthday when it had happened. Castiel was by Dean's side, as always. Sam and Gabriel were both fifteen at the time. Both their parents had perished in a flame-consumed plane crash of which neither of the boys' parents survived. Both families were flying over from their over-seas work to see their adolescent children. To say that the children felt more alone in the world than they had ever felt would have been a largely exorbitant understatement. The Winchester family, both personally knowing the Novak family, had been close friends for years, their children also being childhood best friends since infancy.

Now the Novak and Winchester brothers would have to make due with living in crappy motels and living paycheck to paycheck from diner jobs. Now the children were alone in the world. With only each other.

Cover art by me IG: @dancing.with.the.devil.2023 Teacher!Dean Student!Cas highschool au Dean Winchester always wanted to teach high school english. Every since he was little he wrote stories about monsters and demons and angels to escape from the beatings of his drunk father, John. After he lands a job at his little brother Sams high school, he meets the one and only Castiel Novak. He can't help but notice his magnificent ocean blue eyes, and the way he tilts his head when he's confused about something, or his raven black sex hair. Dean couldn't help but feel an ache in his chest every time he sees him, but he had no clue why. Castiel Novak only had two years of school left before he could finally escape the hell that is Sioux Falls High School. Every since he moved here he's had a hard time making friends. After all, being gay wasn't a good thing to be at his school. He would constantly get mentally and emotionally abused by his classmates. Two more years, he kept telling himself, and then he would graduate and get a degree in fine arts. When the new English teacher, Mr. Winchester, shows up Castiel immediately takes interest. Maybe, it was his gorgeous Emerald green eyes, or his ashy blonde hair that was always spiked up perfectly. Whatever it was, Castiel knew he would like this new teacher. His Savior. *** WARNING ⚠️: This story contains little violence, mild language, and boyxboy love, meaning two males kissing and holding hands, including gay sex! If you are uncomfortable with any of these I suggest not reading so as you can remain mentally healthy (or if you're uncomfortable with gay people to just, not be uncomfortable I guess)!

45 parts Complete

Destiel/Sabriel Reverse!Verse Castiel and Gabriel Novak. You'd think they were angels from their name. But no, they were hunters. Hunters of all things that live in the dark. Sam and Dean Winchester. Two angels cast down from heaven but not technically fallen. One's awkward as hell and the other hates humans. One random encounter leaves all four people constantly crossing paths again in the future. With time they may grow to like each other, but in a world where the hunters lives are constantly in danger, nothing's going to work out perfectly.
