The same dewy eyes. The same way he looks back at me. The same pain that always needed to be relieved.

"Everything seems to be wonderful, but it isn't. Please fix it." My voice began to break as I held in my tears. I turned my head down, hiding myself from him. I didn't want this.

The monster reaches out his hand, placing it onto mine. He intertwined his love within my hands. Holding tight. Until everything was gone in sight. They all ran away.

I looked up. He ran away. Not one trace. Not one memory. Not one touch or loving embrace. He did not look back.
