    I'm Rose Hathaway, the next big Hathaway in the line. I'm 18 years old and I am a guardian. I'm the Queen's guardian, who also is my best friend. Her name is Lissa and she's a spirit user and my bond mate. Which makes me shadow-kissed. That is a thing that even I don't understand.
    
    As I was told I was kissed by shadows when a bad car crash killed me but my best friend broth me back with her powers and now I'm followed by shadows for the rest of my life, which won't last long.
    
    Spirits darkness is something both me and Lissa have problems with but mostly me because I consume it from Lissa. As I was told my aura was filled with darkness. And that's the main problem I have right now.
  
  Not the betrayal, or all the problems with my past, nor the people who would do anything to see a stake through my heart, it's the darkness.
    
  I need to protect her  from it and from all the threats she now has.
    
    And that's how it is...

What happens to all of those that love and care about Rose after the words, Love fades... mine has? What happens to Rose after Dimitri said those four fateful words? Does she stay at court continuing to try and bring Dimitri to his senses, or does she for once in her life do what is best for herself? And if she does do what's best for herself, what is that? Does she beat some sense into Dimitri herself? Well I for one think it is time that we all find out. I've kept the girls safe for an entire year, only when they came to take them back did I have to fight. I had fought everyone I could, trying to keep the girls safe. I was so close to killing the last one but Lissa had stopped me. We agreed to go back, the man had somehow became something to me before I even knew he would. His obedience and my wildness clashed but we had so much in common. Now I have to work with him... THIS IS WITH THE SERIES AND THE MOVIE, I DON'T OWN ANYTHING EXCEPT ANDREA AND ANY OTHER CHARACTER I DECIDE TO ADD. SOME PLOT IS MINE.

The cabin would never happen, but Rose might have heard from Mason about the Strigoi attack sooner. No Strigoi Dimitri. Tatiana lives. Romitri happy ending. Told from Rose's POV (mostly). We won't get into the Mature content rating for at least the first few chapters, but I am hoping to have a nice suitable replacement for the cabin scene eventually. Bear with me for the first two chapters where there is a lot of similarities to Richelle Mead's original plot. It will be diverging slowly to something completely different. Rose has run away, - again - she couldn't handle Dimitri not loving her. Even after she gave everything to him. Her secrets, her heart, and even her virginity. And now, she has to live with the consequences. Dhampirs can't have kids together, but WHAT IF they could, and did, but Dimitri was oblivious to this? Damon, her son, and Mariah, her daughter, are different though from the rest of vampires. How can her children be in so much danger, and be so innocent? More importantly, why? (OK! I know that dhampirs can't have kids together, but I thought that it would make an interesting story!!!!) - READ, LEAVE COMMENTS ON IF I SHOULD WRITE MORE!
