We were told it was to be taken care of. We were lied to. It's been months... No years... Since I've seen anything get better. Yeah to be exact it's been four years since the dead started walking. No one knows how it happened.. we just know this is our life now. What an amazing life right? Yeah it sure is. I was twelve when this started. I was a terrified little girl. I had just witnessed my brother and sister, along with mom, get murdered by these gruesome cannibal type things. I had no idea what they were. But they looked like something out of a comic book. It was insane. Every night, every day, it was all the same, i--no we had to run to stay alive. It wasn't long till we figured out that these you come back as one of those things if your brain isn't destroyed. What a wonderful after life right? Wrong. Well it doesn't matter. I'm close to that point anyways. No... I'm not dying. But I want to be. The only thing keeping me here is my best friend Char, he is my dog. I have no group. I have no friends. I can only hope I live to see another day. I used to have friends, if you can believe that. I was close to one person in particular, their name was (Y/N) But a while after this * started, we got separated. I hope he is still alive. Well, no matter that. It's not good to dwell on the past.
