Beneath The Scars

Crack.
Every single bone in my body burned. As his hand slapped my face, I could feel the tough callous at the tips of his fingers. His veins crooked dark purple as they twisted to be released from under the restraint of his skin. I forced my mouth open releasing high piercing shrieks but he grabbed a hold of my shoulders shoving me back. The hands softened but kept shaking me back and forth.
“Lucy!” the voice hammered its way through my ears, but it wasn’t his voice.
