Gene was never thrown into a lake but was Kidnapped for his abilities. He finally escapes with the help of a small psychic energy surge from a certain brown haired assistant.

Mai Taniyama goes to work one morning where a certain narcissist is being extra rude. It's storming out so the office is unusually quiet. Suddenly a young man comes into the office. Later discovering that this young man is Naru's twin, things get very emotional very fast. But what makes it even weirder is when Mai starts acting odd after saying one word 'awaken'.

What happens to Mai after uttering that simple word? And why does it seem like Naru and Gene are meeting Mai for the first time? And why does Lin get this sneezing suspicion that Mai is a lot more powerful than any of them realized?

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
