Locked Away

"The sky turned a violent grey and the clouds bunched together. Moments later the thunder rumbled and the lightning struck. Those were the moments I slept the best.

I just moved to a new town called Willowspeak with my dad because he just started a small business here. I'm starting college tomorrow and I'm a nervous wreck. This is my first time at a totally different place and I have no idea what the people are going to be like. My dad says I'll be fine. At my old school, I guess I had a lot of friends. I partied, but I was also top in my class. Why do I have a feeling this place will turn my life completely upside-down? And to too it all off, there's a boy I ran into yesterday. Totally hot, but also pretty intimidating.

This place could be a fresh start, a whole new me. But what if someone learns about my secrets?
