This is the short sorrowful story of Noah Blake and his first love. Noah Blake realized he had death's touch by the time he was five years old. Before, he considered them to be bad dreams. When the first death he dreamed happened exactly the same way in reality, he knew he was cursed. With just the slightest touch of another, he will know exactly when and how they will die. After seeing his mother's death for the second time, Noah decided two things: 1. He would never touch another soul, for as long as he would live. 2. He would never love. A boy who lives his life solely in beat with fate, he is not prepared for the girl who is so sure of herself to come into his life. Enter Elowen Adley Medina. The girl with the midnight eyes and the sunset hair. Noah is strange and she wants to find out exactly why. She loves finding out why things work the way they do, taking them apart and putting them back together again. She's headstrong and won't stop until she finds out everything there is to know about Noah. Even if that means breaking her own heart. © 2016 by jaciwrites. All rights reserved.

(COMPLETED) My name is questionable, but my status is not. I am lower than lower class. I am below the living and below the Gifted. I am Ungifted. I am the one who gets to die and save the world all at once. In a world where humans are gifted, being born without a gift, makes me dangerous. A prophecy controls my life and warns every one of the dangerous Ungifted girl. It foretells a future of me ending the world, so a solution was made. That solution is my death. But then I learn of a secret that changes everything and makes me question if my death would solve anything. My execution is set a week before my eighteenth birthday, but fate intervenes. A group of revolutionaries take me from my home and bring me to place that destroys everything I know. With my life in shambles, I must decide whether or not to join the revolutionaries in their quest to change the entire world. Cover Design: Ryan De Tomi
