Love never came easily for Nathan Reed. Growing up, when his friends would get girlfriends, he would always be the single one. He would be the one third wheeling at the eighth grade dance, homecoming, prom, and any other event involving his friends. Whether it was going to the mall with his friend and his friend's girlfriend, or going to the movies, he was single. He was always single. At age twenty three in his junior year of college, he's accepted his fate of being single forever. He stopped having crushes four years ago when she asked him for his best friends phone number. He has never even hugged a girl he likes, and he counts kissing Amanda Baldwin in the second grade as his first kiss. That is until Odeletta Guillotin walks into his French class for the first time, three days after the class already started, late, in a black leather jacket and combat boots. When the teacher talks in French after she's settled in her seat, saying something that nobody understands, Odeletta responds in fluent French. Nathan is promptly intrigued by her. She doesn't even notice him, and he finds himself noticing everything she does, from the way she grips her pen to the way she furrows her eyebrows when she's concentrating. He finds himself wanting to talk to her, but after years and years of rejection, he can't do it. When he finally gets up the nerve to talk to her, he finds there is a lot more to the mysterious French girl than meets the eye. IT IS NOT REQUIRED THAT YOU READ THE FIRST ONE BUT I RECOMMEND THAT YOU SHOULD. *** "I'm not going to make you that girl." he tells me rubbing my back. "I'm not making you some play toy Reece. You're more than that. We're more than that. I can't promise to change over night or completely but I can promise to try." Those are really all the words I need to hear from him. That's he's willing to try. "I love you." I murmur into his shirt. "I love you too, babe. We're going to be okay." "Yeah," I agree nodding. "I know." ** * Caprice Hunters-Valentine, the daughter of Bronx and Damien Hunters-Valentine, is known as the queen bee of the school. with her piercing blue eye and nappy attitude. "We said whoever eats the most pizza has to do the dare no matter how cruel or easy it is." This is just a glimpse of our sleepovers. Ivy and Autumn always drag me into some kind of trap to do their evil dares. Tonight, they used my worst weakness, food. Sighing, "fine. I'll take the dare." They cheered and high-fived as I stood in front of them, glaring. "Better not be something bad!" I blurted, making them snap out of their cheering. They looked at me with a sinister smirk. The smirk where you know their up to something. Something bad. - Meet Jade Williams. Your average girl in every single way. He's basically a emotionless, fit brick dressed up in leather. Just your typical bad boy, right? Her life changes from late nights on Netflix to possibly going out to parties because of two guys. Conner Peterson and Bryan Jones. The most anyone can do to keep her out of trouble is to pray. Not to mention the fact that her two dearest friends are two living and breathing dare making machines. How is Jade going to make it out of her senior year alive? - -January 13th 2017- -January 29th 2017- #14 on Rising Teen Fiction -February 13th 2017- 10K Reads -February 14th 2017- #163 in TF -February 22nd 2017- #136 in TF -January 1st 2018 - 100K READS! PSA: this book, to say the very least, is not my proudest work. i made this when i didn't know a thing about writing, let alone writing a whole story. it's simply a book you'd read if you wanted a quick sap and not something in depth. feel free to check out my other books - they're arguably way better than this one

"The problem is" he said, "if I kiss you, I don't think I'd be able to stop." But that's the problem. He doesn't have to kiss me. We've barely talked before, we barely know each other. He has probably said this to a million other girls. "But you don't have to kiss me" I was probably going to get killed for talking back to the bad boy. "Why are you doing this? I've never crossed your way, what do you want from me?" I ask, very very calmly. "That's exactly why I want you. You've never crossed my way," and with that infamous smirks, he leaves me thinking. ~•~ Aaron Mathews, bad boy of Aradale High School. Jordan Mathews, sweetheart of Aradale High School. They may have the same last name, but they're nothing alike. Aaron- he's, well..the bad boy. Rich, incredibly sexy, mysterious, and very popular. Jordan- the sweet, kind girl, friends with everyone, gets straight A's, but also has a past. What happens when the bad boy starts wanting her just because of his ego? Does he get her? Do they fall in love, or go back to being strangers?
