A 16 year old girl named Emma is reading a book called the twisted fairy that she loves and always wished she could be a fairy one day. Until one day she goes to school and see a ring in side of her locker that look like the same ring ths is in her book then one day she puts the ring on and she finds out that she has some type of magical powers. Emma always wanted to go out with this boy to prom named Max can one day she can go to prom with Max and able to control her powers and don't become the twisted fairy.
