Rose was quite comfortable with Henry having an imaginary friend. After all, she had one when she was little but Henry wasn't so little anymore. Tom was a little worried about him talking to nothing all the time. She picked up his clothes and headed to his room; the door was closed, as usual. She opened it just in time to see a checker piece move across the board . . . by itself.

Mallory Walker was always fascinated by stars. She was entertained at the fact that something so lifeless, could gleam so brilliantly. She never understood the way you could look into the sky and see something that once lived 10 millennia ago. She was enchanted by it. Maybe, just maybe, she was up there too.
"Excuse me?" Mallory heard a male voice from behind her. She turned briskly;
"You can see me?" She croaked.
The boy's eyes widened. "Yes, you are in my room."
"You can see me." She repeated to herself.
"Yes I can see you" The boy huffed. "I'm Henry, and you are?"
"Henry." Her face was whiter than before.
"No silly. That is my name, what is yours?"
"M-Mallory."
"Nice to meet you M-Mallory." The boy giggled.
