Old...Middle...New...Hellenistic...the dynasties of the ancient land of Egypt have come to be known as one of the most prominently studied periods of time in all of history, containing many mythological tales of wonder and fantasy. Yet they were just that, fantasy...or so Antinanco once believed. A young man has come to see that those fanciful legends are anything but when he finds he is linked with one of those ancient beings, Horus himself, becoming his 'Oracle'. With this, five other youths are attached to respective deities, one of which being a self-proclaimed patron of Chaos which have a score to settle with Horus. This ancient conflict, however, soon becomes only one of the many troubles that plague them.

In the shadows, there is a collecting of strange articles relating to an old evil thought to be taken care of long ago, an evil that threatens the entire planet as it wishes nothing more than to have the star warming the Earth firmly in its stomach. Antinanco, his fellow Oracles must seek out and collect these pieces of the great evil, all the while avoiding a cult that wishes to acquire these artifacts as well, the head of this cult not being entirely what he seems...
Can these six combine efforts with their linked deities to assist in securing the Earth continues to be nourished by the sun? Can the gods themselves learn from their human partners and put past issues to rest?

Like anyone else, a 25-year-old mini market worker Dylan King will never think that he will witness the Greek Goddess Athena come out from a yellow lightning spark magically appears in his room. It turns out that the goddess has just managed to free herself from a realm called Kolaseos. This realm has imprisoned her for more than a thousand years, thus making her and her people a myth. As Athena attempts to adjust herself with the present life, her lifelong enemy Medusa also comes out from the same spark, even though the location where it is located is different. Being engaged in a skirmish against the gorgon is inevitable, and it ends up leading Dylan and Athena to find more Greek Gods, who apparently have also come out from Kolaseos too. One of them is Hephaestus, the Greek God of Blacksmith. Later on, Dylan learns that an ex tech billionaire is suspected to have built a machine that will summon and control any creatures or gods still trapped in Kolaseos, with the classic purpose of taking over the world. The suspicion itself is getting stronger with monsters ambushing them and Medusa, making the gods determined to stop the ambitious man. Dylan does not regard it as a problem, until his involvement with them risks him to repeat a tragic past; one that he has actually been trying to hide for the past few years. Dylan is aware that the deeper he is involved will only make the possibility become bigger. However, as he is somehow blessed with the power to shut Kolaseos portal, he can be considered as the most crucial key to gain victory. To make it worse, he later learns that avoiding the conflict will only lead to a future that is way more tragic than he had predicted earlier. Knowing which option he should take, he cannot imagine what will happen to him once the problem is finally solved.

From Chapter 29 'Darkness': 'Did I just try to dive into that goo to get at a dead guy?' Trueth asked. Define dead,' Metjen said with a half-smile. Don't do that again.' Trueth's cheeks burned. That could only be the caffeine. The stuff had never agreed with her. 'It wasn't my idea, there was a voice in my head!' *** Trueth hates being the last paranormal creature left on Earth. She needn't worry: On a trip to Egypt she runs into Metjen Al-Nour, magical member in the last temple of the sun god Ra. With sparks flying between them--not only those of the magical variety--they solve a 5000-year-old riddle where clues are literally buried in tombs, historical sites--as well as in the family safe. Hi. I'm Jones. My life was hard enough without being chosen to revive a bunch of gods. According to some ancient prophecy, I'm supposed to bring back a whole horde of deities to prevent demons from enslaving humanity. With the help of a badass demigod and a couple of friends, I'll have to get my hands on an ancient relic, reclaim a flaming sword, and raise the gods before I get killed by monsters. Or demons. Whichever one gets me first. Nothing to it, right? Unfortunately, though, I'm about to realise that the world is overrun with monsters and demons. And every single one of them would give anything to kill me.
