Old...Middle...New...Hellenistic...the dynasties of the ancient land of Egypt have come to be known as one of the most prominently studied periods of time in all of history, containing many mythological tales of wonder and fantasy. Yet they were just that, fantasy...or so Antinanco once believed. A young man has come to see that those fanciful legends are anything but when he finds he is linked with one of those ancient beings, Horus himself, becoming his 'Oracle'. With this, five other youths are attached to respective deities, one of which being a self-proclaimed patron of Chaos which have a score to settle with Horus. This ancient conflict, however, soon becomes only one of the many troubles that plague them.

In the shadows, there is a collecting of strange articles relating to an old evil thought to be taken care of long ago, an evil that threatens the entire planet as it wishes nothing more than to have the star warming the Earth firmly in its stomach. Antinanco, his fellow Oracles must seek out and collect these pieces of the great evil, all the while avoiding a cult that wishes to acquire these artifacts as well, the head of this cult not being entirely what he seems...
Can these six combine efforts with their linked deities to assist in securing the Earth continues to be nourished by the sun? Can the gods themselves learn from their human partners and put past issues to rest?

Six gods, one human. 20 years ago a prophecy was told that the gods future would depend on the choices of the seven at twenty one, these choices would either seal the gods from earth forever or herald a new understanding between gods and humans. The prophecy had been vague about the seven and gods and scholars had spent years trying to work out the riddle, who or what was the seven and then what was the twenty one. One of the scholars believed the twenty one referred to years and if that was the case then the prophecy would be coming to light within the next year. On the day of the prophecy was told six new gods were born , Attis, Boreas, Mors, Erebus, Helios and Pan each bore the same birthmark, scholars believed the boys were linked to the prophecy but were puzzled by the missing seventh. Speculation over the boys continued as they grew up and learnt and trained together, but the boys were competitive and most thought the prophecy was a joke without seeing a seventh mark. 20 years ago on the day the prophecy was told on Earth a baby girl was born under the stars by Angel Falls, her mother cried as she held her newborn baby in her arms, knowing she would not live to see her grow up. Then Serenity's world is opened wide as family truths come out and old enemies appear. What happens when two worlds collide and dreams become reality.

Get out your popcorn, tourists beware, here comes a paranormal adventure with a historical twist, set in Egypt--and Britain. From Chapter 29 'Darkness': 'Did I just try to dive into that goo to get at a dead guy?' Trueth asked. Define dead,' Metjen said with a half-smile. He muttered something and touched Trueth on the forehead. The rest of her giddiness faded away--only to return as Metjen crushed her in one of his bearhugs. 'For a moment I thought we would lose you. Don't do that again.' Trueth's cheeks burned. That could only be the caffeine. The stuff had never agreed with her. 'It wasn't my idea, there was a voice in my head!' *** Trueth hates being the last paranormal creature left on Earth. She needn't worry: On a trip to Egypt she runs into Metjen Al-Nour, magical member in the last temple of the sun god Ra. With sparks flying between them--not only those of the magical variety--they solve a 5000-year-old riddle where clues are literally buried in tombs, historical sites--as well as in the family safe. But their journey is far from over - where other stories end, this one really takes off... . The second novel in the trilogy, 'Cursed Times - Only Yesterday!', is completed, and 'In My Attic' - a spin-off to the world of Cursed Times is available with weekly updates. === Copyright information, given the recent acts of content piracy: All copyrights of the texts are mine exclusively.
