Backstory

As a child, Jimmy was known as Benjamin Meating. He lived a pretty normal life, until August 22, 1995. While on a boating trip with his brother Jesse, their watercraft was ambushed by a large group of swashbucklers. Jesse was thrown overboard and sadly, he drowned, but Benjamin survived. He was taken aboard the ship and mercilessly tortured by the mentally ill pirates, until finally he succumbed to the pain and told them about the Golden Izzy Statue and its' location. If they were done with Benjamin, they would have to kill him, but he would then hold valuable knowledge about the workings of the statue's divine powers and the pirates would be screwed. If they let him go, he would tell of his happenings and put the pirates' operations in peril. So, they decided to allow Polly the Parrot to peck his beak up Ben's nose, successfully inducing the lobotomy. He was taught how to be one of the most vicious pirates in the world, naming himself Jimmy Jack Fuck, but during his lobotomy, his cerebral cortex was damaged and that left Jimmy with one weakness - pussy. Jimmy became a sex addict, and could never get enough pussy. When battling other ships, Jimmy would be on the Portside fucking the nearest harlot aboard the enemy vessel. Eventually, his shipmates grew tired of his shit and kicked him from the boat. After swimming for days, he arrived on the shores of the city of Halifax. In order to fulfill his combative desires, he invaded the nearest Spartan Combat he could - Cable Crusher Wrestling.

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.
