Following the events of "World's Apart," Batman holds himself accountable for Superman's current predicament. He is obligated to make things right. With the aid of Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman, the trio would set out on a quest to heal Superman from his critical condition. It all goes on array, though, resulting in a Superman with no memories and the release of Zod from the Phantom Zone. For situations like these, the trio would need the aid of another (Green Lantern).
