Due to an accident thanks to Neptune, Blanc is sent to a different dimension where everything is nearly identical except for a few important features. For one, she no longer has Rom or Ram and two, nearly everyone who isn't a Lowee citizen hates her due to her HDD form and are afraid that it's corrupting her. Will she be able to find her way back to her own dimension or will she be stuck for good?

As Nanu and his siblings return to Hyper Dimension, they see that they are still in the CPU Shift Period. Nanu, Nepgear, and Neptune try their best to keep citizens from leaving, but are also trying to attract more citizens from the other nations. But after a shocking message from Noire, all four Goddesses meet at Planeptune to discuss recent rumors that have been floating around. Neptune has a brilliant idea on how to stop these. Hold a festival! However, the festivities are held short, as the four CPUs are challenged by a group of four known as Gold Third. After a humiliating loss, the world itself seems to have changed.
