Riley - A shy and introverted girl who prefers not to socialise with people in her year at school. James - The new student from across town who's hot, confident and incredibly insouciant. No one's ever been interested in Riley's day-to-day life but with James being the new student and vastly inquisitive, he's about to find out just exactly who she is behind the hoody and facade she puts up on the daily. Taylor is the quarterback and the captain of the boys varsity football team. All the guys think of her as one of them. They treat her as though she were one of them. But they don't know why she plays. They assume that she just loves the sport. And that's true, it's just not the whole truth. No one seems to care why she plays, just that she does. The only one that knows is her best friend, Jake. When her mom leaves, it all falls apart. Her dad is gone too. Her brother is dead. Yet, even though she has all this to worry about, she's keeping the biggest secret yet. One that changes so much.

Mary-Kate is a nerd, in every single AP class the schools offers, in the school marching band, and in every academic club the school has. Most people think that she's just a nerd, not worth dating. They don't know her whole life. James is the star quarterback for the school's football team popular, hardly passing any of his classes. He is a full blown jock, every girl wants to date him. Not knowing his life When Mary-Kate is hired to be James's tutor will they find common ground, and create more then just textbook Chemistry. (This story is finished, I'm going to be putting up book 2 after I get back for the christmas holidays probably, I might update sooner but I know for sure that it will have some up after then, so check back later for more information)

Riley. The girl who's grown up in a family with exceedingly high expectations, had to deal with the loss of her mother from a young age and who's been taught to always be tidy, sophisticated and pristine. Things only seem to get much more dire when her dad sets a new restriction for her to settle down with a guy by the time it's her eighteenth birthday. James. The boy who's grown up on the "ghetto" side of town who lives a life fuelled by poverty with his mother and younger sister after his dad left. Messy, under-educated and undisciplined, he's the complete opposite of Riley. But when these two characters meet, both their worlds flip upside down and they find themselves falling deeper and deeper into a Scandalous Love.

James is the new guy at school, he has good looks, is super hot and within a week he becomes super popular. Then there is Riley, who is not so popular, very independent and a total mystery to the world. But once James starts having feelings for her, will he choose his popularity or his love? Riley got it all figured out, she's working on her applications for college, even longing to get a scholarship to one of the best dance schools in the country and on top of that she is on the top of the schools food chain, everyone wants to be her friend. While James only cares about his truck, himself and whether or not he is going to skip school the next day or not, not really caring about the people in his school all that much, as his mind is pre-occupied with his own problems. Find out what happens when those two do end up merging anyway.
