"I believe that Poetry is the aesthetic act; that poetry is not the poem, for the poem may be nothing more than a series of symbols. Poetry, I believe, is the poetic act that takes place when the poet writes it, when the reader reads it, and it always happens in a slightly different manner. If one doesn't feel the poetic event upon reading it, the poet has failed. Poetry is magical, mysterious and unexplainable without oversimplifying it." - Jorge Luis Borges in an interview with Roberto Alifano Dearest Reader, This is a collection of poems, which are reflections of the way we live, the way we love, the way we feel, the way we grow and the way we finally leave for the eternal journey to the unknown. It's a teenager's perspective, and could very well be wrong. But as we all know, and as my Father has rightly said to me, "There's no good and bad, right and wrong, true and false. Everything we sense, know and believe is merely our own little Opinion." Like I've said before, my attempt to write poems, verses and proses is and will always be, an endeavour of my heart, a piece of my soul's treasures. And anyone who reads them is entitled to their own opinion about them. I would be the happiest person in the entire Multiverse, if someone initiates a discussion and/or starts a debate with me about my pieces of writing. Feel free to speak your heart out with your comments, suggestions, questions and views. I value them the most. Yours forever, WaterLily.

DISCLAIMER: This story contains themes of emotional and physical abuse, mental health struggles, toxic relationships, and self-destructive behaviors. It portrays difficult and complex emotions that may be triggering for some readers. If you are sensitive to these topics, please proceed with caution. This is a work of fiction, inspired by real emotions and experiences, but it does not intend to glorify or promote harmful behaviors. If you or someone you know is struggling, please seek support from a trusted friend, professional, or helpline. You are not alone. Some wounds don't bleed. They fester in silence. Sofia has spent her whole life being told what love is-through whispered apologies, bruised promises, and the kind of pain that lingers long after the bruises fade. She's learned to survive in a home that never felt like one, to smile through the weight of secrets no child should carry. Then there's Zayn. He's everything she should stay away from-reckless, untouchable, dangerous in ways she can't name. But when he looks at her, she feels seen in a way she never has before. In his arms, the world quiets, the chaos stills... until reality reminds her that happiness was never hers to keep. Because love is supposed to hurt. Right? And when the past refuses to stay buried, Sofia is forced to choose: the life she's always known or the one that might destroy her. Some truths are too heavy to speak. Some love stories are never meant to last.
