Alyssa Mae Jones is 16, she is sarcastic, smart, and powerful. And she is in not way shy when it comes to sharing her dark humor. Life seems to be picking up, with her dance audition almost here, and a new biker boy on scene but then doctors discover she tests positive for cancer and her whole life gets turned upside down and becomes almost too difficult to bare. Teenage life is hard enough, but Alyssa has chemotherapy, love triangles, prom, and a family that's falling apart to deal with too.  So what will she do when she unexpectedly falls in love, but is practically at deaths door?
   Despite the tears and heartache, this comical, touching story is sure to warm your heart. So, Alyssa has always battled things on her own because she thought she had no one to help her through it....but boy was she was wrong.
