Vana Lynn is the princess of Meri, a kingdom that is underwater. She is a creature that humans call a mermaid, but they call themselves Aewyna. They were created by Odins great, great grandfather as a peace offering between the two realms.
When Howard Stark was looking for Steve and the teseract, he also found Vana Lynn passed out next to it. She has been in a coma until one day her sister Orabel Finds her whereabouts and goes to get her, and wakes her up. Vana has to stay on earth a bit, while Orabel goes back home. What will S.H.I.E.L.D. do to her when they find out she controls water and what will she do when she falls head over heels for a land boy? What happens when Loki comes to try and take over the Earth? Will Vana fight with the humans that have been hunting the Aewyna for centuries or the descendant of the man that made Aewyna!
