The symptoms of Lyme Disease snuck up on me. I often wonder if I'd known then what I know now, how everything would have played out. Some seemingly unrelated problems, some no more than a nuisance at the time, represented a series of red flags that could have saved me a lot of heartache, or so I'd like to think. Hindsight is 20/20 as the saying goes.

I decided to post these essays in the hope that someone would find them useful and perhaps reach a diagnosis sooner rather than later. The first hurdle of Lyme Disease is recognizing that you have it.
