"She was hurt, both mentally and emotionally. But everyday, she walked with a smile. Because that was who she was and is: the she-cat who never stopped smiling."

"I'm bleeding out, I'll bleed out for you...for you.."

Moons after the strong warrior, Marigoldheart, has disappeared, her brother, Applemask, discovers she has died when she visits him in his dreams the night of the anniversary of her disappearance six moons ago. He struggles with this information, unsure what to do with it. He tells their living sister, Jadesong, and she becomes stressed as well. She had just announced that she was expecting kittens when Marigoldheart had gone missing. Grief-stricken, she lashes out at her mate and the father of her kits, Smallstep. He leaves her, and she blames herself. Applemask promises to be there for his littermate and her kits, but when Marigoldheart's secret children appear out of nowhere, what will Applemask do?

With horror, he realises that this might link with one of his siblings. Addershade is a WindClan warrior. They are snappy, rude and cold, and many of their clanmates don't trust them. They are only close with their best friend, Doestep, and their apprentice, Swallowpaw. But once they hear the terrible news in ThunderClan, their more generous side sparks out - they are determined to resolve the problem. Little do they know, their relationship with their own clan will change - but for the better or the worse? Duckkit lives a happy life in RiverClan with her parents, and her brothers, Goosekit and Swankit. She enjoys playing and overall having fun. But after something that changes her life happens, she feels as if she doesn't fit in her clan - especially when there's a hidden traitor among her clanmates. One gathering, these five cats meet - and along with a group of other cats, they team up to save the clans. But will they succeed in doing it, and will there be other troubles awaiting them?

// Sequel to Unmasked "Are you not listening? We don't have time. The longer we wait the more of our own die. They grow stronger every day - the newest batch of apprentices will be trained in assassination, for StarClan's sake! And if they have the ability to pick us off, one by one, then who will remain to put an end to Dawnstar's reign?" Dewkit knows very little of the rebellion his mother took part in. For him, home is the brick walls and cardboard dens of the alley cat camp; a loving mother, a host of friends, and a just leader. Here, his twisted back leg and crumpled ears are of no significance - until the poison of DarkClan begins to spread closer and closer, endangering this peaceful life and bringing with it the threat of war. Lightpaw trains hard, day and night, to live up to DarkClan's standards - and her mother's and father's. Yet, as Dawnstar's cruelty grows and darkness looms over the Clan, Lightpaw finds herself wondering if the stories she heard from Nightchaser as a kit could have any truth to them. Her thoughts put her at risk, but can she truly live out her days as nothing more than a pawn in Dawnstar's game?
