These poems are all structured around the experiences and thoughts I've felt throughout my life suffering from an anxiety disorder and depression. This is the world through my eyes, my horrible eyes. The Shadow's Journal
Standing in the cold, looking up at the moon... The stars seem to appear less today... I hear the howls in the distance. The cold breeze swings my way... but it doesn't seem to faze me... and when I'm here in the night... my mind drifts to you... So tell me, do you not feel the cold the moon brings? Don't you feel it's shadow in the night? Crawling from the depths to swallow you whole... The stars seem to disappear, now that the demons have come out to play. Wouldn't you like to break free from these shackles that binds you in the abyss?
