A dystopian world in which the gifted are hunted, detained, tortured, enslaved, and executed. Two hundred years ago, it was discovered that those born with violet eyes are what people called moderatorises. It's singular translation meaning controller. These people are seen as a threat to the people of Dorbank, the former city of New York.
A war took place two hundred years ago, between the moderatorises and those who saw them as threats. Many countries across the world were destroyed and left in chaos; many cities across the former United States were left in ruins. It was up to the remaining population to rebuild their cities.
With these gifted people being hunted and in hiding, one in particular stands out. She may be the key to reuniting all of the human race once more, to end the ongoing war. Her name is Mira Weaver.
