"Whoever said that diamonds are a girl's best friend, never owned a dog." -Unknown

All of Emery's life as been surrounded by one thing: dogs. While most girls her age are thinking about boyfriends or the latest party, Emery is too busy worrying about her dogs' next training session or when she'll need more dog food. If living in a house with her own five dogs wasn't enough, add on her volunteer hours at her aunt's dog rescue and her job at a dog boarding kennel and her life has gone to the dogs, literally.

With all of her time spent with the four leggers, she has barely anytime to deal with the two leggers, leaving her to have few friends.

Enter Beau. Not only is he charming and kind, but he also as the looks. And a very...hairy secret. Being an Alpha of a pack of wolves, you'd think he'd be able to swoon Emery with a swipe of a hand. Or tail. Wrong.

He has a lot to learn when it comes to the fur-filled world of Emery's. And she has a lot to learn when it comes to anything Beau-related.

Follow these two as they discover how much their opposite worlds actually have in common.

Wolf placed his hands on my waist, pulling me in flush with his body. He dipped his head to my ear and whispered, "See? No one that looked at us right now would think we're friends." ------------------------------- When Savannah's long term boyfriend, Tripp, breaks up with her out of the blue before their annual summer lake vacation, she's devastated.
