Neiman Davís, a 14 year schoolgirl, thinks that her family's motto of "life always gives you another chance" is stupid. It's not until she decides she isn't good for this world anymore, she realises she's wrong. Waking up after a three story plummet, she realises that though life can be sucky and bad, you can control it to make it just the opposite. Sort of like how she finds out she can control people.
