I knew i loved you when i coudn't do an hour without thinking about how much i missed you when i woke up and checked my phone hoping from a message from you .When the highlights of my day was talking to you in the passing periods of my school. When my heart busted at the thought of spending everday of my life with you when your happiness somehow seeped into my dark wrinkles and brightened my life .When i thought of the future and only thought of our hypothetical apartment in an upstate Oregon . i knew i loved you when my heart beat at the speed of light when i didn't wanted it to beat at all ❤

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. I don't know how it happened, I don't know where it began and I don't know when it ends. We met on an app, we were never meant to be such close friends, but we were, maybe even more. We grew close, yet we were strangers at the same time. You were my shoulder to cry on even though you were rarely there physically. I told you my secrets, but I was so caught up in the thought of finally having someone there for me that I never realized the fact that you never told me yours. When we first met we were inseparable. We weren't meant to be more than just acquaintances, but somehow, we grew closer and I got attached. I tried to stay away, I tried to keep my distance, but I was clouded by the fact that I wanted- needed a friend. The walls I spent so long building up, you knocked them down so easily, that it looked almost effortless. I fooled myself into thinking that you would always be there, that you were different from everyone else, that you wouldn't leave like them, that you wouldn't drop me like I was nothing. Foolish girl. We grew closer, I got attached and somewhere along the way, I fell in love. You never loved me the way you loved her, did you? Was I just a broken toy you wished to fix? Did you pity me, the lonely girl that barely survived the world? Why did you leave? I wake up one morning and you're gone. Gone from my life, from my mind, from my memory. Please tell me why. Why was this our falling out? Please tell me. What was it, the words you continue to whisper to me before I close my eyes?

The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway. She's too innocent. *Mature content* {Just a quick update, I am basically rewriting the story. I wrote it when I was in 8th grade and it makes me cringe every time I try to go back and edit it so keep in mind that it'll get better}

Emery Rayne. Everyone expects you to have the perfect life when you have rich parents. They assume that you've grown up getting anything and everything you want. Money has never been the problem for my parents. Their problem was me. And once I turned nineteen, I left. I've always wanted to leave because they never loved me growing up. They were too into their own rich life that they completely neglected and abandoned me. I wanted to escape. And now that I finally have, I couldn't be happier. Unexpectedly rooming with two hockey players whose lives revolve around hockey wasn't a problem for me. That was until a blue eyed- tattooed boy showed me how beautiful love can be. I wasn't suppose to fall for the captain of the hockey team. I try not to like him, but I fall even harder. But I carry a heavy past around my shoulders and when those two familiar people threaten me with Havens life, I'm stuck between choosing his happiness or mine. My parents make me feel like I can't have Haven West. And if I'm being honest, even I don't know if I can have him. But he calls me his special person. He's my special person. Haven West. The only thing I've ever cared about was hockey and the people that raised me. I grew up with parents that held a knife to my neck and destroyed my image of happiness. When she moved in, I hated it. When a month passed by, I couldn't help but take her out on a night drive, smiling at how tight she holds me. There's no one like her. She was the one that made me laugh because of how fucking silly she is. She saw me when all I've ever wanted was for my parents to love me. I fucked myself up getting attached to her. Because now, I'm addicted to her. I'm a smiling bastard whenever she's around. I'm broken and never believed in love but I can't let her go because she's what I would describe heaven to be like. Loving Emery Rayne is the best fucking feeling.
