The sudden suicide of young James Hunter shocks the citizens of Kingstown. His mother, a doctor at Kingstown Central Hospital, Gwen Hunter, is determined to solve the mystery behind her son's suicide, and the strange virus spreading through the town. As the government try to cover up the suicide as "accidental death", the virus claims other victim's lives. Is this virus the cause of Jame's Hunters' shocking death? Can the citizens of Kingstown figure out the truth?
