Lanora knows that women do not have the same rights as men. She wants to fight in the war to not only get back at her father, but to get out of her lonely house. So what does she do? Dresses as a boy and pretends to her long lost brother Noah.
Jackson Smithsonian is the son of the most honorable military leader, and has a huge expectation to live up to. He now has to train all the new recruits and get them ready for war. Which is a lot harder than you would think. Suddenly he's getting mixed feelings about this Noah guy, not so good feelings.
