Gerard Way. He's always haunted by his title- the photographer's son. He's new in town and it's only a coincidence that his father owns a photography and development shop. Then Frank Iero pops into his life unexpectedly, scaring Gerard, causing him to spill his photos everywhere. His oath that he would only take one picture of the same person is broken. As their friendship grows, so does Gerard's collection. Best part is, is that Gerard is as oblivious as it gets. He journals everything that happens, including his nights with Frank. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written. I wrote this when I was 13 and finished when I was like 15. Now I'm editing as much as I can to make it less embarrassing. Sequel "Never look up" both fanfics make me cringe tbh
