Rosaline Carter has been plagued by the same event for a year now, determined to make a fresh start, her and her family move to England and enrol her to an academy in the middle of nowhere, desperate to ship their broken child away.
Broken, that's what she has been labelled by everyone; the psychiatrist, even her own family. But she's had enough of it, she needs to change.
Elliot Vincent, has a lot of expectations to exceed, who said it would be easy for an heir to a multi-million business and the next generation's Einstein, a seemingly pristine life. And unfortunately he's a walking cliche; popular, arrogant and not to mention conceited. The floor he and his friends walked on was worshipped by everyone, teachers included. Guys wanted to be him and girls wanted to be with him. Who wouldn't?
In Acre Hall Academy, everything's reversed; nerds virtually run the school and the brainless are bullied, a polar opposite to other schools.

Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school.
