She smiled sweetly at him as he guided her around the dance floor. Elegantly spinning and dipping her to the soft beats. In those moments everything was perfect, her smile, his feelings, the music, her grace, and just being there, next to her was enough for him to plaster a smile on his face, it felt like the first time in centuries. He knew it would end soon so as the music stopped he dipped her lower to the floor and watched as she reached out to brush his cheekbone before her eyes shut closed and tears leaked out. They were only ever together in his dreams now. He brushed the streaks away and watched as she and all his surroundings disappeared.

When he woke up he was dripping sweat, he pulled at his hair, it hurt but Soul couldn't bother to care. As far as he knows only three things were certain.

1) He just had the same dream that always ends with the nightmare that is losing her

2)Maka Albarn was gone and he was all alone in the apartment. She wouldn't care for him.

3)She would never return

RIGHT Weeks before Valentine's, seventeen-year-old Kate Lapuz goes through her first ever breakup, but soon she stumbles upon a mysterious new app called My Dream Boyfriend, an AI chatbot that has the ability to understand human feelings. Casually, she participates in the app's trial run but finds herself immersed in the empathic conversations with her customizable virtual boyfriend, Ecto. In a society both connected and alienated by technology, Kate suspects an actual secret admirer is behind Ecto. Could it be the work of the techie student council president Dion or has Kate really found her soulmate in bits of computer code? She decides to get to the bottom of the cutting-edge app. Her search for Ecto's real identity leads Kate to prom, where absolute knowledge comes with a very steep price.
