Up until now all you've been reading are these typical standard good girl bad boy novels. They meet, fight, fall in love and eventually marry. The thing is, never ever have the funniest and best characters had a real say in the matter. Except for small attendances in a few parts of the book that is. For example, this good girl's best friend. Now it is time to take a dive into the life of this best friend and show you what's going on in her life. May I introduce, Noé Campbell. She is Maddie's best friend, a total klutz who only has unfortunate troubles coming along her path. After one comes the other, and that's really the way it has been going for 18 years. Noé is just like a magnet that draws all the iron unwillingly to it. She's not scared to speak her mind and let her voice be heard. She has her own clumsy way of dealing with things. She hasn't been lucky in love, at all. You could say that Cupid didn't shoot his arrow at the one for Noé yet. She isn't the smartest one either, you're probably wondering if there even is anything Noé is good at. Well guess what, Noé is good at one thing; cooking. Not a great match. You would think that due to her clumsiness she can't cook and instead makes a total mess of everything. On the contrary, it's the only thing she loves to do. Somehow, even though she's full of troubles, she manages to get through the days. - And BAM, just like that I fell into a pond full with frogs. "Curse you!!" I scream it out as I put my hair out of my face. I'm surrounded by dozens of frogs doing rabbit. My clothes are soaking wet and clinging to my body. Why do I always have bad luck?

Astrid

Carter slowly walked towards me, butterflies swarming in my stomach, filling every inch of me. "Assi." he grabbed my wrists, and made me look at him. "Who was that song about?" "You know who." "Was it... about me?" "What would you say if it was?" I cocked my head to the side, our eyes staying connected with each other. "I wouldn't say." he moved closer to me, towering over by the slightest bit as his breath surrounded my every nerve. He leant down, took a sharp breath and connected our lips. - Astrid was a beautiful girl, who had lost her sense of who she was and where she belonged. She went through something traumatic at only 14, but no one noticed. She moved to Roseville for a fresh start with her best friend Kaitlyn by her side. But Carter notices. He was a "bad boy" with a heart of gold (ik it's cliché) . He never let anything slip by him. He doesn't say anything as their personalities clash and they hate each other. You know what they say, there is a thin line between love and hate. Will these two step over the line? But sometimes, running away from your problems doesn't go down unnoticed. The very person Astrid ran away from is after her, and this time, the consequences will be worse. -- This is an enemies-friends-lovers book and they become friends early on because I find it difficult to write going from enemies to lovers so yeah. *unedited book* #1 in talent show (29/02/24)
