34 parts Complete
The war that started it all. Five hundred years ago a war erupted in Elementa when humans started hunting a revered race called the Drekablóð; half humanoid, half dragon. The humans saw them as abominations for their differences; fear of a race more powerful than another makes others do rash and deadly things. After the humans slaughtered a whole settlement of Drekablóð, the magical creatures of Elementa rose up in defense of the Drekablóð. The humans likewise called on their dwarf and elf allies. Thus Bellum ex Quod Draco ipsos Troiugenas began. For ten long, bloody years the races fought hard for the future of the Drekablóð. One wanting to exterminate them like pest. The other wanting them to survive and flourish. In the end, the humans won, but their victory cost them and the rest of Elementa dearly. The alicorns and dwarves disappeared. The wyverns and elves were practically extinct. Dragons were a rare sight. Only the humans survived to tell the tale of how they wiped out the evil monsters that tried to take their lands. Elementa, originally a lush and beautiful land, was now split into four different climates, equally harsh in their own way. But the humans prevailed in cultivating Elementa and chasing away any remaining magical creatures into her far corners. With the resistance of magical creatures no longer in their way, the humans continued their 'sport' of hunting the Drekablóð into extinction. Half a millennium later, the seeress Carmentha foresaw the return of the Drekablóð, and restoring Elementa to her prime and defeating the wicked and harsh rulership of Elementa. These four children have been destined to save Elementa before they were ever born. Can they overcome their difficulties and save Elementa? Or will they fail and allow Elementa to fall into darkness forever? There will be some minimum swearing and minimum acts of violence. I would rate this book for 14 and up.

Become a dragon, and save the world. Drenar found a dragon hiding in his soul, and two of his other friends found out they were going through the same Awakening as him. Dragon science gives way to sudden realizations that their situation results from magical experiments from a mage rebel group. Their goal: to recruit the newly awakened dragons, and overthrow the mage world government. With chemistry class the least of their problems now, he and his friends vow to put a stop to that, and embark on a journey that will reveal startling truths about their world--and themselves. With the daunting task of saving the world from those who have hurt him and his friends personally, Drenar recalls the words he's always needed to give him the strength to do what is right. "Be a light to guide the way. Carry a beacon to a better tomorrow." What to expect: * A coming-of-age, epic fantasy to save the world. * The characters are the heart of the story, from dragons, to kitsune, and more. * Rotating POV through the main characters, but occasional POV of the secondary characters * The MC's make mistakes from time to time. They learn and improve as the gravity of the situation builds. * Timing: M-W-F schedule * Rating warning: PG-13. There's some language, violence, and some content that might not be for everyone (trauma, grief, and others do get touched on). Heavy chapters will be noted, so there will be fair warning. * Read ahead on Patreon for up to 15 Advance Chapters!

(Part 2/3 of Discordant Note) (Part 1: Discordant Note | TBATE) Toren Daen entered the Central Cathedral feeling hope, ready to challenge the High Vicar and prove his soul. He left it broken, his wings sundered and torn. But Toren has a spark; an ember of fire left in his heart that the people around him strive to rekindle. And if Fate is kind, he may just rise from this defeat like the ghostly phoenix bound to his soul. Toren knows he can help the world he has found himself in. Now, the only task is to flap the butterfly's wings-because Toren hopes to change the outcome of the Dicathian war. But it will not be so simple. The Scythes loom about him like the blades of executioners, always watching and waiting. The twisted politics of Alacrya have sunk their claws deep into Toren's soul, and though he may set foot on another continent with the hopes of giving the Dicathians a chance, those he cares for will always chain his heart. Arthur Leywin, twin Anchor for the Legacy, will not bend to the change Toren heralds so easily. Seris Vritra has plans of her own for Toren as they enter the war in Darv, and there is no telling if his desires fit anywhere within her schemes. The Hearth looms as a beacon of hope: if Toren lives long enough to make it there. And behind it all, two gods play a game of chess: and they both have a question on their minds as the war of lessers reaches a crescendo. How many times can a phoenix die before it will no longer rise from the ashes? (Updates Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) (Cover art commissioned by @_aphora_)
