This is the story of me. I wrote this book in attempt to explain to the ones I love the struggle I've been silently facing for months now. Battling depression, going through therapy. Losing the one I love, heartbreak. But also, my road to recovery. "And although they were never together, and although he said they could still be friends. She felt horrible for the way she treated him throughout their friendship. She had had gotten use to him being a huge part of her life for so long that it was weird when he had stopped calling her baby. Now she was just his friend. His friend that even though he said he would stay close to, he now treated as a stranger . His one worded replies everyday was enough to make her remember all the bad days they had spent talking to each other . She had become so dependent on him and the love she had for him that she didn't realize how suffocating their weird friendship/relationship was and the moment he said she never meant nothing to him was the moment she had lost her heart and all the feelings she held with it. He had stolen her heart and crushed it. And he was never even her boyfriend."

She had tears in her eyes and was looking at me with disgust. Our eyes locked and it was like the world disappeared. It was her and me. I was to protect her with every fiber in my being and in that moment I want to cherish and comfort her and hurt whoever did this to her. Then it dawned on me. I did this. I hurt my mate. That thought alone made me want so shrivel in a ball and die. We broke eye contact when she quickly got into her car and drove away. She was my mate. A human. I had to make her love me. I have to make her forgive me. All of the hate for her washed away in that moment, that minute, that second. Disclaimer- I wrote this book when I was super naive and didn't know that the abuse written about in this book is unacceptable and not to be tolerated. Also, it's pretty bad writing. So just keep that in mind too.
