Ladybug is completely mortified after she is forced to witness the death of her one true love Chat Noir, otherwise known as Adrien Agreste. Filled with both anger and grief, Ladybug tells herself that Hawk Moth would pay for what he did...with his life. The young superheroine struggles with many decisions, primarily if she is to use "Absolute Power" from both miraculouses to bring Adrien back from the grave and whether or not to take Hawk Moth's life. Of course, Hawk Moth has difficulties accepting the fact that he had just murdered his own son. Whereas Marinette wants revenge, Adrien would want for her to find closure through forgiveness. She also knows that using "Absolute Power" to bring back her love could result in the end of the universe and everyone in it. He shrugged and sat on the floor near her, staying clear of the train on the dress. "I actually needed a girl's advice." She raised her brow quizzically. "Okay... what does the 'ladies man' need to know?" Referencing the most recent interview he did. "Oh, come on. I didn't expect them to keep that part in the interview." She giggled. "It was funny, I'm glad they kept it in." He flicked her exposed leg through the dress slit. "Okay, but I just had a question about Ladybug." Marinette swallowed hard at the mention of herself. She suddenly felt like she shouldn't be hearing this because she was Ladybug. "Okay, shoot it." He bit his lip, maybe unsure how to word it. "Well... I kinda tried to court her for at least the last 7 months. She didn't accept it, and I finally accepted that myself... but I guess my question is why she might not have wanted me. I'm sorry, I'm not even sure you could answer that... It just seems like Ladybug trusts you, so maybe she mentioned something to you?" -- Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a usually stubborn, headstrong girl, finally gives up on liking Adrien Agreste. He can't seem to take the hint, and she can't seem to conjure the confidence just to tell him. Chat Noir, a superhero who's able to charm any girl in his double life AND civilian form, can't seem to charm the one girl he wants: Ladybug.
