Sollux was the most gentle troll Aradia had the absolute pleasure of knowing. He wouldn't ever admit to the generous side, and his bashfulness regarding that side of him made her only more willing to be beside him.

Even when the voices got the best of him. Sollux can smile on the surface and show no trace of pain, but Aradia knew that was far from the case. Sollux's mind was bombarded with screams of the soon to be doomed, and none of them would ever guess whose screams would go unheard in his mind.

On restless nights, when the screams would get too loud, Aradia was the only one to make them quiet down, if even for a second. Aradia was his second home and she knew that.

Some say it's a blessing and some say it's a curse. Aradia would never say which she thought it was, she would only ever hold him until he could finally sleep.
