Weeks past and in a large town a woman called Marnie found Alaska in an alleyway and took her home. As the years went by the two formed an unbreakable bond.
Alaska is turning 16 soon and strange thing begin to happen. She finds a necklace and a note in her locker, a new teacher arrives at school and a strange boy called Eric Maccon enters her life.
On the night of her 16 birthday, Alaska turned into a leopard as white as snow. She hides this secret from everyone, afraid for what they might do if they found out, she also finds out that Eric has a secret too. As Alaska discovers more about her past and family the more powerful she becomes. She discovers her teacher isn't human and the location of her missing siblings but that's just the beginning.
Strange people and creatures begin to arrive in town searching for someone....Searching for Alaska. Now she is on the run, she must return to her home to find something that will change her life forever.
Alaska was always different but she didn't realize that she was the last of her kind, the last pure werecat.
