The Crimson Conspiracy

After seventy years, Gemini, the City of Thieves, has finally been retaken by the Empire. With the former warlords of Gemini seething over the change in power, the Empire cannot afford to let even a little of their fragile control slip. So when a dreaded killer returns to threaten the city, the new masters of Gemini know that this could either destroy them...or be just the opportunity they need. If they succeed in ridding Gemini of this monster then they will have established their dominance. If they fail, the warlords will bring bloodshed in their attempt to reclaim their former glory.
The desperate Empire pins their hopes on one man: Imperial investigator Que Jasper. But with the trail cold, and enemies and allies all but indistinguishable, Que will be lucky to save himself, much less the Empire...
