Armed with an armored Batsuit he created in case Superman ever went rogue called The Hellbat, Bruce Wayne goes into battle one last time as Batman to try to save those he cares about. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Given all the hoopla surrounding the movie Batman v. Superman, I wanted to write my own Batman and/or Superman story. After coming up with different scenarios for my story, including my own version of Batman v. Superman (which I still might write later on), I finally decided on this one (for now at least). I wanted to go beyond the controversial The Killing Joke-where The Joker shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage.
