The Forbidden Forest is known to be the home of dark, formidable creatures. Werewolves, Acromantulas, and the like thrived in the darkness the thick trees provided. But deep in the woods, past the dark mist, was a sanctuary. This is where the unicorn herds rested, the nymphs and fairies flourished, and flowers grew abundant. Lying behind a boulder and a mossy sheet was a wondrous, colorful world, one that had never been seen by Muggle, witch or wizard. Hogwarts new of such a place, but it was kept hidden from the students because of the harm that could be brought to it. Children were ugly, terrible creatures with no thought to nature or beauty. Children take and take and take until there is nothing left but desolation. Until one day, in 1978.

I am King

After his first year Harry knew both the Muggle world and Wizarding world wasn't safe for himself. After something Ron said to Draco, Harry was now the run from a large group of Slytherins out for blood. So Harry did the one thing he always did, ran into the forest to get away from bullies. Only, the Forbidden Forest is far different than the small woods budding Privet Drive. Art not mine. Credit to the incredible artist.
