For as long as I could remember, my brother had always been my best friend. I always prayed it stays that way.

At the age of eleven, playing with your brother's friends is silently frowned upon especially if you are shy and your brother's friends are older than you even if it's just by a year.

Today my brother got a new friend, unlike the others, he didn't pretend to like me and he didn't behave like the others... mindlessly following my brother.
He was different... Bad different, which equalled to trouble for me.

His name was Tatum Collins.
His actions towards me caused me to learn survival. Learn to be bullied or become the bully.
I chose the later.
I learnt to survive .

Tatum and I later came to a truce. His past actions helped me to survive middle school and when I got to high school, I finally qualified to be his friend.

I was fifteen and my brother, Carter was celebrating his "sweet sixteen." Tatum invited a friend of his to the party, Keith Daniels.
At the end of the party, both stumbled out drunk as hell and entered Keith's car. He was the "designated driver" for the evening.

The next day Tatum didn't show up at school. The day after was when I finally coaxed the reason out of Carter,
Keith and Tatum died, they crashed because they were drunk.
The two idiots were gone and I didn't know how to deal with the news.
I ran out of the house towards the direction of the park.
There... For the first time since Tatum and I became friends... I cried.
