|**Flashback Of 10 Minutes Before**|

"Maybe she should think next time she tries to run away!"

"Honey, she's only 13. Can't you just pretend to be the dad she never freaking had!?" 

I had walked off to go clean up from after dinner. 

I knew, just knew James would say something about me to Heather when I walked off.

"Can't you be like me and realize how nasty she is?! Heather do you know where she's been?!"

"Well she-"

"You don't! Right! Sorry! I forgot! We got this girl off the streets! Heather you've only known her for 2 days!"

"Well the only reason I brought her home was to strengthen our marriage!"

I was watching/listening too their conversation from around the kitchen/hallway wall. 

This was when Heather broke into tears.

She literally dropped to the floor from doing dishes and buried her face into her hands.

I felt so bad.

I was the reason their marriage was falling apart.

"I just wanted to help her." she whispered with a face full of tears.

"I know honey but we can't. This girl is dangerous. How do we know what she's got herself into? The police could arrest us. For holding her captive. She can't sleep in the basement forever. Someone's bound to find her. I just wanna be safe."
"Oh James, you are right. What are we going to do with her?"

"Well, we're going to have to kill her. Leave no trace."

I shrunk against the hallway wall.

I made my way to the kitchen as usual and opened the fridge and grabbed a drink. My mom was usually in here,preparing a snack for my brother and I but today she wasn't. To think of it,it was too quiet around here I then proceeded to go upstairs to my room as I know my brother has soccer practise and my dad is at work. I walked upstairs and passed my father's office and I heard some talking I then heard laughing,a woman laughing to be specific "Scott stop!" Words We sat on opposite sides of the room, she was asleep. I think he was exhausted, so was I,but we both didn't want to sleep. We couldn't sleep, maybe a bit scared that if we close our eyes then she will be gone. "You can get one for yourself" Nathan" I'll sleep next to her" For the next two days we spent waiting for her to wake up. Each day felt like a huge battle that we were losing, it felt like she was gone and maybe we both knew she was gone but we didn't want to admit it. Days turned into weeks, Nathan and I refused every suggestion the doctors made. Some days they said she was improving, would be taken to surgery then they would discover something new. It just felt like nothing was working, and our options were limited. Me" I can't stay here" He didn't answer me, I grabbed my things and went to the door. I close the door behind me and proceed to walk up the stairs and return back to my beloved bed. As I lay in my bed, I stare at the ceiling. 'Do something that gives you reason to come out.' Is that what he had said. he's right, and I had just the thing to do. I'd find Ellie's killer and make them pay. Bailey is just a normal teenage girl, never wished for things to be different, never wanted a more exciting life, but that's exactly what she gets when he best friend is murdered and the police don't seem to care. Bailey realizes if she wants her best friend to get the justice she deserves, she's gonna have to catch the killer herself.

That was all I needed to hear, and I was thrilled. Without making noise, I danced around my room and repeatedly thanked him. Later that night, after the usual abuse, I silently packed my things when she was passed out. I hurried in doing it, and stored them at the back of my closet so she couldn't see them when she checked up on me. You're doing it, Sammy. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.

He yells at her with hatred, he blamed her for being the one will cause a woman to be beaten; He didn't want to be that kind of man. However, what he lived with her caused him to bring out what he hated the most about himself from within. -Forget it love- said a woman who was next to her- it's not worth it- this dog was supposed to be her friend, she was supposed to support her just like she did; however he managed so that he and she hated each other and thus be able to steal it. The woman on the floor does not know how much she was framed and harmed by her naivety, nor did she know that this was the beginning of her misfortunes. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.
