Davis has a baby at 15. Her boyfriend, Darnell, is the head of a gang and even though they're together, he's never really there for her or little Savannah. Davis struggles to raise her child in the streets of Harlem, while Darnell is busy getting himself a reputation. She doesn't know if they'll make it through, and the fact that she's white only makes it worse. Darnell is a black gangster, so his guys don't really like Davis. Plus, Savannah looks exactly like her dad. Most people that know Darnell want him to ditch Davis, but he wants to hold on. Will Davis, Darnell, and Savannah form a family or will the cold streets of Harlem tear them apart?
