Witches that aren't so evil and could easily be found in libraries with their heads buried in books or fairies that aren't just small and magical beings they could be our size who are huge YouTube stars and we wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
In this modern society these magical beings are trying to live sync with us in this ever changing world filled with vast technology.

Being Head Witch of an entire city is less leader-ing than the job title would have one think; it's more a fine blend of disciplinary work, keeping the entire 'magic thing' under wraps, vetting new witches and directing them to the guidance they need, and keeping track of magic layering tomes. And goddamn it all, her partner just managed to disappear at the wrong time; right after finding and apprehending a particularly violent newfound witch flexing his newfound magic, and right before it was time to take care of the tome that caused it all. Witches are everywhere. You may just past by them while walking on the road. They live among humans now. In the past, they were out in the open. People were both revered them and schemed against them. This led to the Witch Trials causing many of them to die and killing innocent women. Now, they go into hiding, keeping their presence hidden. The Witch Council made several rules after the fateful incident. Now, witch covens are smaller which make it easier for them to hide. They don't come out in the open nor do they get involved with the affairs of the supernatural world. In the present day, witches are just like humans, except with powers.
