It was only a dare. "I dare you to spend two days in the haunted mansion in Foxglove Forest," Veronica sneered at Jedidiah, "...with Callie Weird." Anyone but Calliope Weir. She was bat-shit, and that mansion was haunted. She would try to summon the spirits or something. She made Jedidiah want to legitimately break his own eardrums and scoop his eyes out.
