The best villains have back up plans, but even Maleficent couldn't have predicted how deviously delicious her 'Plan M' would turn out. That is to say, Sleeping Beauty isn't the only baby Maleficent ever cursed. She cursed her own infant daughter, and now, years later, Mal must battle the terrible fate her mother wrote for her. When Aurora was born an evil curse was placed upon her by her father's ex. On Aurora's coronation, Maleficent placed a curse that on her 16th birthday she would prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die. After Maleficent left a fairy changed the curse that she would fall in a deep sleep and could be wakened by true loves kiss. When Maleficent found this out she searched all the different realms for a way to stop this. She found the worst spell that she could use to get her revenge. That she would send Aurora somewhere, where she would never have a happy ever after.Complete

So many stories have been told of the dark fairy's motives and here is another one. Why did Maleficent curse Princess Aurora? I have merged facts from Maleficent (2014) and Sleeping Beauty (1959). Rights to Maleficent, Aurora, Stefan and the three good fairies, as well as the christening speech, go to Disney. The plot from 'Friends?' to the end is also Disney's. The content of the exams, the schools and Nanny belong to Serena Valentino. The spells are from Harry Potter and belong to J.K. Rowling (mainly. if you don't recognise any, I probably made them up). The main idea is mine and Volo belongs to me. Her name means wish in Latin. Sorry if anyone else had the same idea. BTW, Vota means wishes.Complete

Everyone knows the stories of "Sleeping Beauty" and "Beauty and the Beast." In "Sleeping Beauty," the main protagonist is female, but what if the main protagonist were male? In "Beauty and the Beast," the main character is cursed for being mean and rude. What if, instead, the main protagonist were cursed for someone else's crimes? I am going to rewrite my story, "The Cursed Prince." My inspiration comes from "Sleeping Beauty" and "Beauty and the Beast." King Daniel and Queen Annabelle longed for a son and tried for many years before finally having a baby boy they named Edward. However, King Daniel's past soon comes back to haunt him. His ex-lover, Felicity, who is a witch, curses Prince Edward by making him very ugly after King Daniel rejects her. A kind witch named Chloe informs the royal family that the curse can only be broken when Prince Edward finds true love. However, King Daniel and Queen Annabelle feel ashamed of their son and decide to give him to the servants to raise. Edward grows up without knowing he is a prince; he believes the servants are his true parents. A girl named Lucy, who is not traditionally beautiful, befriends Edward, and they develop a close bond. Lucy looks past Edward's appearance and falls in love with him. The question remains: can Edward look beyond Lucy's appearance and return her love?Complete
