Keys.
As the dictionary states, a key is a small metal instrument moulded specifically to fit into a lock and open its bolt.
Something you use to free a locked house. Something you use to release the car door. Something you use to unfasten a diary.
But for Nora Blackwood, her key is something else.
It doesn’t open a door. It doesn’t start up a car. It just sits there, holding secrets and lies within its curved copper.
